Jordan Rhodes

If we are bidding 5mil+ for Rodriguez, surely a cheeky bid for Rhodes wouldn't hurt if they lose tomorrow.

He is a goal machine, 36 in 40 this season (more if you include cup games!)

Ched evans was banging them in too (no rape jokes) ..... How did he do in the championship? He would be a good buy but not for the money they would want!

How would he fit in to MM side of 4-5-1 with no width for 95% of games over a season though as hes used to there formation with wingers from what ive seen of them on TV or would MM change it all with two up top?. i dont even think we would get him even if we tryed as the last year or so all we are having is massive media releases on who we are after for weeks on end, then they go to a bigger or better clubs above us :ayatollah:

Are we bidding 5 million for rodriguez though?
obviously we are interested in him but his agent is clearly trying to get the best deal for his client and ive got to be honest i would be genuinely amazed if malky has that kind of money to spend on a single player

rhodes is clearly a fantastic player but there is no way hed come to cardiff especially as huddersfield may well be in the same league as us next season

I think 451 was a necessity that worked and was the only hope of coming out the season with something.

His mates Pardew and Rodgers are 433 guys I wouldn't be surprised if that what we play next year at home although it easily drops to 451 away.

Spot on! He had no choice but to play that way. He is not a fan of hoofing the ball either but again had no choice but to play that way :)
