Do you believe the owners have money this season to put in after last seasons fall away after jan. I think its all a big PR stunt and if they do decide to pull the plug by looking for others to invest then there was never any money there to start with, thats my opinion but we all differ

Are we really bidding 6million for a player ??? The club wouldnt pay 75% of loan wages last season when we needed them in jan, so i will believe it when im eating my shorts after this guy has signed

The Malaysians are playing a very clever game here. They are going to see us get relegated or promoted on the cheap, they will take advantage of us hardcore elect who will carry on supporting the club no matter what by hiking the prices up

'Bids' are always 'imminent' or 'tomorrow'. Agents leak news to round up intrest form other clubs. I hope to be proved wrong but at this point of time without a statement from Malaysians about their future plans, investment etc I can't see it.

I believe that on the first day of the season, we will have a superior side on paper, to what we fielded on the the first day of last season at West Ham. Only top six or better will be acceptable. If you don't believe this will happen, what is the point in going this season? It might not happen for a number of reasons but I am sure we will all enjoy next season. There are never any certainties in football before a ball is kicked. Look at Leicester and Birmingham last season.
Lets all be a bit more positive and enjoy the summer before it all kicks off.

We need concrete proof. VT should come down with all his cash in notes and buy Ibrahimovic on the spot. We need a target man.

Some good points in there spike, but what did you vote. Btw this is not a thread trying to be positive or negative i am just wondering what fans thoughts are in a poll in general on the thread headline and reasons behind there vote

We got a target man parkin but hes out on loan and would cost 1/10th of Ibrahimovic wages, hay maybe we could get a story out saying we are bidding for him next week who knows whats next.

63 vs 37 percent so we can say over 1/3 of are fans are split in what they believe.

I voted yes, however I'm not sure in the slightest. (I could've quite easily voted no for the same reason!!)

You've got to hope they will, god knows we need half a dozen quality reinforcements. I think we overachieved last season if I'm being truly brutally honest. The football after Christmas was nothing short of shocking at times brought on by being figured out, no plan b and the same players playing twice a week, presumably because MM didn't trust the rest of the squad players to step up. Yes OK we finished the season unbeaten in 10 to get into the play off mix, but I think that was just as much down to the rest of the teams in the league being...well...not very good either!

My main belief which I'm sticking to. If MM can get us 6th in a fairly poor standard championship with a hard working squad but lacking with quality and extra bodies, then if these two points can be addressed in the summer we will be a force again next season.

One more point...is it telling that I'm actually more concerned that the teams coming up look better and stronger than the ones coming down?? I'm sure that tells a story?

In my opinion I can see why our owners dont see value in paying wages of player who is not ours. I personally think they (and MM) are wanting permanent players who will hold or increase in value. This is why we are after Jay Rodriguez, he is not likely to lose much value!

look at birmingham we sold nearly all the carling cup winning team mate.only fahey and zigic play anywhere near regularly from the team that lifted the cup 15months ago.so all in all i,d say we did quite well really
