I would at the moment welcome jay back to city he can get important goals. Also Malky must up the auntie on Matt Phillips 2. Also what's the situation on Liam Lawrence ?

Can't see us getting Phillips
I'm sure we could get Lawrence but hope we don't.

i'd welcome lawrence bk with open arms, he created so much space out wide against palace and west ham it just went unnoticed by the rest of the team, i can remember a number of times against palace where he had acres of space dwn the line to whip it in the box, he was literally screaming for the ball but rarely recieved it, i think if he's had arrived at city a few games earlier he could have created some important chances on goal and things may have been a lot different, but that's just my opinion![]()

Regardless of what you think of him, he is probably the most technically gifted player to ever wear a city shirt and an out and out matchwinner.

It's not practical to expect the work rate of Don Cowie from a player like Jay because fatigue sets in and the mental sharpness needed to make those match winning moments happen goes away.
I always wonder whether people who call Jay lazy, have actually ever played football in their life...
