Silly sesson or not....

Thu May 24, 2012 5:20 pm

What do people want on this site with regards transfers?? I'm genuinely baffled by some of the responses. For example if someone posts we are linked to anyone almost straight away other guys come straight on to say they don't want him, he's rubbish etc... and I genuinely feel sorry for the op for starting a thread in the first place with all the negativity that normally follows.
However if a day or two passes with no news on potential signings people then start asking Carl, anniversary etc what's going on!?!
Personally I like the club to do all transfer dealings in house and we the fans only get to know about it when the new arrival is pictured arm around the manager and holding the shirt.. Yes it's not as exciting as speculation but I do think it is the way all transfers should be conducted.
We may get the players the manager wants this way, rather than for example the Rodriguez interest which means his agent will whore him around to get the best price and we will probably miss out.
Just a thought as to what you all think?
