Could this be our biggest 'silly season' yet

Wed May 23, 2012 6:41 pm

With all the rumours, scaremongering, actual factual news we are waiting on, transfers targets, increased twitter use etc, this could be the mother of all silly seasons! AAMB is gonna be red hot for the next few weeks I reckon! Let's keep in friendly and enjoy the banter! Remember not too ignore your wives to much lads!

I think there's going to be a lot of surprises this summer involving signings etc which know one will have seen coming! I'm just gunna try and switch off and take all the rumours with a pinch of salt, try not to get to excited...easier said than done though lol

We have already been linked to Lewis, Henriksen, Bellamy and Rodriguez, and that's just the start! Imagine what it'll be like if TG and VT release a statement saying they will back Malky with millions? I hate all these rumours, but I think they're just that, rumours. I remember us signing Cowie, Mason, Kiss, Turner, Lawrence and Vuckic and nobody knew of these targets until a maximum of a couple of days before. In fact, the only signing that dragged on for a while before it was sealed was Miller. Conway and Gunnarsson was rumoured before being sealed as well but those signings were completely relatively quickly. So I believe if we sign anyone, it will probably be someone who hasn't been rumoured before hand.

I suppose these rumours and pieces of gossip give us our 'football fix' in the close season
