Fine words

Wed May 23, 2012 2:32 pm

Just read Malky's interview in the South Wales Echo and i must admit there were many fine words said, but the time has now come for the fine words to end and the action to begin,i would suggest that Malky will be judge by the fans not on his ability with words but on his actions,i would never presume to say i speak for all fans on here but i think i speak for many when i say we need Malky to bring in quality players with pace and flair and we need him to bring them in sooner than later, this is where i get a little controversial,i mean it would not be a posting by angelis if it was not so...... i realy think that Malky should look outside the Scottish leagues for players because with the exception of a few quality teams, i would suggest the standard of the rest is poor,i dare say this will upset some on here but its just my own personal view...so in conclusion i would say its time to end the fine words and bring on the action

The only player Malky signed from the Scottish leagues was Craig Conway on a free transfer. If anything Malky has shown that he has great ability in the transfer market, perhaps he is too stubborn and picky but look at those he's brought in on a tight budget: Gunarsson (Free), Mason (250k), Turner (800k), Taylor (Free), Cowie (Free) and Kiss (Loan/500k), not saying he doesn't have the board's backing but if he had seriously big money and spent it as well as on those extremely cheap players I'd be happy.
