We played st albans in the tesco final quite a few players for merthyr also play for tir y berth we lost 1 nil probably a fair result but we had 2 really good chances we should have scored

That would be a great game to watch all being well we will meet in the semis or final but there are a few good teams to beat first.

To be fair every league has one or two teams that are popular and usually the best player/players from the other teams want to play for the best teams.

Merthyr u14s last season have been put in the u15s league of the supercup whilst all the other u14s from last season are in the u14s catagory
The boys we will be playing will be a year or so older than us as the teams we play will be u16s in the new season???

The 3 players i had this year were from lower league teams.
Maybe its because we teach them to play the right way and leave the others behind.

Yes I was on about Elvis from Newport. I am involved with district rugby at this age group. Elvis was playing for Newport district and is an exceptional talent. I have heard that he now plays for Newport district U16's.

To be fair every league has one or two teams that are popular and usually the best player/players from the other teams want to play for the best teams.

The best players want to play for the best clubs, hence the best clubs get stronger year on year. It is then up to the fixture secs to arrange fixtures further afield and get competative games.
