Their supporters are all small town crackheads so I guess this could be true. Not that they have many supporters though , their attendances in the premiership have been awful !!!

I think it's fair to say football drug takers are different to other sporting drug takers. Not different in the fact that there cheats but more in the way that there the clubs assets, so simply sacking them wont help either party. If this is true ( which I doubt) they will get a fine ect...

Although I did hear today that in the euros there going to test 4 players per team instead of 2

Yeah , I heard on radio on way home that they are gonna really tackle drug cheats in Euro 2012. I guess that they are looking for performance enhancing drugs as much as recreational misuse ?

Que the "we can't fit any more in and we have a waiting list" drone!!!

If the club had potential and hope then they would have built a bigger ground in the first place!!

We did :ayatollah:

Exactly mate !!! They will roll out excuses , but the facts are there !! Their attendances were shit !!! I don't wanna listen to excuses , I just look at the attendance and think , fook me they managed 20.000 for a game against Man U. We get more in the Championship ................ but they just roll out excuses for why they couldn't get a bigger crowd , their excuses make me yawn and I then look at a different thread

Not excuses at all, they are facts. How do you think we could of got higher attendences?? The stadium was build when nobody thought we would get to the Premier League, ideally it would have had more seats, but 20k was the right thing to do at the time. We are building the club slowly and in the correct manner, a increased stadium capacity will come in time.

Thanks for your concern anyway. :P

What excuse do you have for being unable to sell-out a home play-off semi final against West Ham United?

If I remember correctly , 23k of us were there ? It was a great atmos , but you wouldn't know what it's like with 23k in your ground
You make excuse after excuse about why your attendances are so low , but I don#t care they are lower than ours and always will be. Poor deluded chap , FACTS not fiction.

Ok then brains. The stadium holds 20,000. Each week every home seat is sold out. Away fans attendances vary at the Liberty. Blackburn and Wigan took a bus load which will impact the attendances yet Villa, Spurs etc.. took their full allocation.

That is why my friend, the attendances are 19k one week then 20k the following week. All home seats are sold out every game and if the stadium was bigger, then yes we would get 23k+ every week due to more home fans being able to attend.

If you don't have a season ticket then you face the lottery of the scramble for the remaining tickets that go on general sale and 10 times out of ten these sell out.

When the Liberty was built, it was geared towards league 1/championship football. If we knew then that we would be a Premiership team then the stadium would have been built a lot bigger. We didn't get above our station and build a mega huge stadium and have 15k attendances.

Look at MK Dons or Darlington for example. Swansea are growing the club not trying to run before they can walk.

Surely you can see the logic in this? :ugeek:

Ooh a couple of lovely bites there. But touchy about this aren't they. Their championship attendances when they got promoted were poor so once the novelty wears off or relegation looms the same numbers will apply

I only heard it was the 1 player and to be honest he wouldn't be missed that much.We need another striker anyway, someone who's gonna push DG10 for a starting berth and the alleged wasn't that player.

See ya.

On a serious note, it has to be a bit worrying - bearing in mind the report indicating there had been a fair few missed drugs tests by SCFC players?

Around a year or so ago, think it was a Panorama type program, either BBC or Channel 4 about drugs testing in sport. Rings a bell. Revealed the number of missed tests on UK football, think they mentioned 15 in 3/4 seasons?

And a fair few of those were Swansea players you say? Said player has only been with us a season though so I don't think that report can apply to him.

Im not concerned that there's a problem at SCFC though because i honestly believe there isn't one apart from the one player who has a bit of reputation gained long before he came to the Swans.

In you,re promotion season you averaged 15,000 which is a complete joke, (against coventry you had 10,000) i,m sure you also done a deal with your local tescos that season, was it something like by two packets of crisps and get a free ticket to the council patch???

You can use stats in many ways, for example our promotion year was our third at championship level, and yes some games there were poor crowds, but so did you during your 3rd year in the championship some games had 8 or 9000 there. So what though what matters is results on the pitch and league position. We have moved from 92nd to 11th in a few short years, we have done it the right way and learned many valuable lessons from previous owners and our last time in the top flight. Today we are a well run club who play an attractive brand of football with a young manager and exciting young talent, we sell out every game (something that has never been done before by any welsh club) and we have no need to beg foreign owners for cash.
This season has been brilliant and very enjoyable, the magnitude of the PL has really hit home and every game feels like a cup tie. How long will it last? God knows it could be over in 12 months time and if it is then so be it, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
