CCFC WORCESTER wrote:My friend and fellow Worcester Bluebird, Phil Price, has asked me to post the incredibly sad news of the passing of massive Cardiff City fan, Roy Chesterman.
66 year old Roy, a former Football League Referee, who had also held senior positions within the Welsh FA, passed away suddenly on Saturday night at home in Worcester. Originally from New Tredegar and a season Ticket holder in the Ninian Stand, Roy never missed a home game, and travelled regularly with Phil, myself and other Worcestershire based Bluebirds to follow ‘the City’ away.
A wonderful character, loyal, funny and Bluebirds mad, Roy will be greatly missed by Phil and all of us who were lucky enough to have had the pleasure of knowing him.
Goodnight Roy, god bless and may you rest in peace.
