Exactly, it's not the literal term. I just call them City fans who have moved away. Not "exiles", who are just Newport County fans and criminals of the middle ages (basically the same thing).

Oh okay, let's just use whatever words we want, in whatever context we choose, and it doesn't matter whether it's correct or not because someone else may or may not comprehend what it is I'm trying to say.
Good philosophy on language.

Because to me, being exiled is being banished, not living away by choice. Thats migration.

Some info for u............
Born in Cardiff 1973.
Moved to Kent in 1986 cos my dad was poached from the company he worked for to relocate to the south east,
Was I happy? no, but I was 13.
Been to loads of games still and remained a city fan for 34yrs now.
My dad moved back to Wales but I couldn't move back as I had a young son in Kent.
While living in Kent I went to Spain on a stag do, met a girl who lived in Luton, moved to Luton in 1999 to live with her and have now been married 12 yrs with two kids.
Equals...........exiled.

Despite having a different accent, Jules is one of us. It takes a lot to still be a bluebird when you move away. We were shit back then. Top man
