community foundation charity festival

Just to say for those who organised this event today it was brilliant. The kids from the ADC centers got sponsored to raise money for Bobaths childrens therapy and played at the Cardiff City Stadium in set matches at different times per age group.

My son played and for us as Cardiff fans to be invited to go to the stadium and be made to feel so welcome and have a good look behind the scenes at the stadium was special.

The kids used the home changing rooms to get that match day feeling and worked up the tunnel out on to applause on to the pitch.

Many of the ADC coaches attended and organised things very well.

It was a very special touch from Cardiff City football club to let these young lads as young as nine to play on the same pitch as are heroes.

On top of all that money has been raised for a good cause and the community has been brought closer to the club.

Thanks for a brilliant day out I was so proud to watch my son play at the ccs.Just hope the club keep this going so the kids get something to look forward to every year.

Gwyn there was a real buzz in the stadium today just hope its a sign of things to come.I have been asking Gary wilmot to organise something like this as a reward for all the boys hard work they put in at ADC level and to have that today was just superb .The parents to deserve a treat having to finish work early on fridays to take there kids as far as carmarthen sometimes for games.

It was a fantastic treat for us all and just maybe all those liverpool ,man u etc fans who went today just may get hocked on the bluebirds as well.It was brilliant mate and raising money for charity was the icing on the cake.
