I know you say you're here in peace, but that's a bit arrogant of you thinking LA Galaxy would beat us. I know you have Beckham and Robbie Keane, but the standard of football we play at is currently far superior to the MLS. I know the standard of the MLS is improving, but I think we would comfortably beat you. We had one of the biggest goalscorers in the MLS with us a few seasons ago in Eddie Johnson, he struggled to make the step up to our level.

Not sure they are even an average Championship side this year. Even with their best players they are second to last in the Western conference. Lost to the Red Bulls recently, with NY missing Henry, Marquez, and a bunch of other starters. It's a fast, athletic league and I honestly enjoy watching it, but I feel any team in the Championship and most in League 1 would have a legitimate shot at winning the MLS league. Luke Rodgers, League 2 level striker, tore up the league last year while he was healthy, so that is a pretty clear indication of the standard.

Thats a good point actually. Did not think of players like Rodgers and im sure they signed a striker from maclesfield.
Its a strange league as you can have players like henry beckhams etc, but have league 2 players in the same squad.
