Was the total attendances for Cardiff's league and cup games at home last season. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

That's a lot of people through the turnstiles....

Interestingly I thought I'd tot up our 23 home games from 2010/2011 season and also Swanseas.

CARDIFF'S TOTAL.........533,451

JACKS TOTAL..............356,672 and there's was a promotion season

Outcome....proof (again) that we are the biggest and best welsh team, by far :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Prem being the operative word.

What Jules has done is put us on an even keel. Before the Jacks got promoted they had 8,000 STs compared to our 17,000.

We are talking about expanding our stadia before we even get to the premier while the Jacks have only just considered it. That alone is proof we have a bigger attraction for a fan. If it was us in the premier the gap would be collossal. Shame we were let down by the previous regime.

Few problems there Chief, with your memory. Let me help you.

Yes, you had more season ticket holders, well done. Remember your various dubious 'golden ticket' scams used to get that many to sign up? I do./ And how are your season ticket sales going this year, slow from what I've read on here. You don't think you managed to rack up the numbers by exploiting your trips to Wembley do you...

Good point on expansion though, butt. it just serves to highlight why Swansea is a club without debt, enjoying life in the Prem, and Cardiff are saddled with debt, looking at liquidation.
Yes, we're going to expand because we're in the premier League, and the demand is there./ You're Malaysian owners, how very Welsh, are promising you lot an extra 8,000 seats in the Championship, despite you not selling out ONCE this season, and seven your semi final play-off leg against a big club like West Ham. So 15,000 extra empty seats will prove you're the bigger club :D

Nothing wrong with my memory.

We had more season tickets than you because we retained our numbers after the first visit to Wembley. Retained being the operative word here. This season we are pretty close to last season.

Sorry but what does this word liquidation mean, not heard of it this year. Is it to do with debt? Well let me jog your memory, do you want me to remind you how many times your club has been in administration? You really are in no position to judge on other clubs debts are you?

Right back to expansion. At least we have owners, well near enough owners talking about expansion. Meanwhile your council owners are more interested in building a MacDonalds. Says a lot about the confidence they have in your club. I think you are going to need a few more season in the premier to justify your local tax payers spending their hard earnt money on your lot. I mean the locals have not seen much return money wise in the stadium have they? It would be a start if you paid your rent.

Confidence in the club? I'd be more worried about confidence in your 'owners'. 15,000 empty seats isn't confidence mate now is it
Not bothering to go oer the council 'thing' yet again, you're in the same boat. You don't own Legoland, just a lease. You're taxpayers were ripped off, whereas ours/me are part of a money making business plan for the area. Who makes money off Legoland? the malyasians. Who amakes money off the Luibert, Swansea.

'nuff said.

Seriously though, with you lads struggling to fill the stadium in the season just gone, and known throughout football in this Country for having awful, dreadful, home support and atmospheres, how do you think expanding an all ready too big a stadium for yourselves will impact on the already awful match days?
Seriously,, you WANT 15,000 empty seats? Sad that this whole capacity thing is all you Red
Dragons have to hold onto. But hey, if it helps you sleep at night :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Getting over 20,000 into a 27,000 ground while in the Championship is not exactly struggling. Tell me what was your attendance last season 12,000 into 20,000?

Our stadium is owned, we dont need to pay a rent.....someone should tell you need to.

I''ll give you the atmosphere problem we have. Saying that we have only been there 3 years. It takes a while to iron things out. Lets be honest the Liberty was not exactly a lively place when you first moved there.

Regarding the Malaysians well I would rather them than failed roof mechanics.

season tickets about 16k at moment as for you not being in debt well on radio only wolves without debt so sorry take look at you finances see what you find?? as for demand well likes said before all you base things on is speculation what if you get relegated then what??? whilst you deserve to be where yoy are dont think you are made? because as everyone knows its exspensive being in premier and no club as been relegated without lots debt and need to off load players as wage bill to high and that is fact not speculation!!! :ayatollah:

So our council make zero from the retail park next to the ground, hmm? Land that was vacant previously, hmm?

"Money making business plan for the area"? Do tell, how much have Stadco paid the council? I'd suggest taxpayers in your area would be more interested to know why council returns have been minimal whilst some of your fans brag about the Prem money.
