He won't get the job full time.

Just look at the football, everything Abramovich hates.

Not the same job really. I wouldn't swap him and doubt he will get the Chelsea job, far to boring.

In my opinion Annis, Di Matteo has just improved the morale within the Chelsea squad and has got them all playing for one another. Malky would have done this also and would probably have done just as well for Chelsea as Di Matteo. Just my opinion of course. :ayatollah:

That's fine, he knows how to manage players but they ain't his players. He hasn't proved he can build a squad to compete.

They went backwards In the league.

If they didn't win the shoot out which we all know is a lottery then they would have been out of Europe.

Being honest considering what he took on he has done well.

But paying someone to paint your house or build your house is not the same thing, that's the difference to me.

Gethin Jenkins refused Di matteo a second interview and refused to even put his name forward

He hasnt does these achievements on luck, I dont believe in that in football, what he has achieved is fantastic. I agree he has got them all playing together, but that takes a lot of doing with BIG BIG STARS. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

AVB was overthrown by player power. Di Matteo is purely one of the guys and just trying to keep a happy camp. The squad was already there. However, we should have interviewed Eddie Mewton for the job perhaps.

Can we also finally sort out this luck thing. Is the red shirt purely about luck or was it about selling shirts in China where they would rather red.

If any of you believe RDM is managing Chelsea then im afraid your quite mad.

Terry is the Chelsea Manager...RDM is just a figurehead.

just think of the players di matteo could of attracted for us,

he's a superb manager,

look at the way he treats his players, you notice one thing all the top managers do, Mancini, morinio, di matteo

they all greet their players with a hug after every game

Wasn't it said Di matteo was stinking of booze/fags? I agree what Di matteo has done has been an incredible achievement. I think the fact he used to be a Chelsea player and knew a lot of the players and staff has helped him, he hasn't needed to win them over and they all respected him from day 1. It may have been different for Di Matteo at a different club but a fantastic achievement all the same.

I would still love to see what Malky could do with a squad of world class players like Di Matteo mind as I honestly believe we have overachieved this season and I think this is without a doubt because of Malky getting the best out of everyone.

I never heard any of that stuff regarding Matteo and his interview, in fact I heard Chris Hughton and Di Matteo both said Jenkins was the most amateurish interviewer they had ever come across and knew nothing about football and thats not made up.

That doesn't surprise me and that's one of the reasons why Jenkins is out of our club now. I remember someone saying that Di Matteo was smelling of booze and fags but I assumed it was nonsense. Di Matteo has proved himself as a tactical mastermind, fair play to him.

Roberto Di Matteo has managed Chelsea to winning the FA Cup, and the Champions' League. Is there anything else to add? Oh, and they did it wearing an unlucky colour shirt. Surely some mistake?

And me.

They need a new stronger manager to come in and instantly sell Terry, Cole and Lampard.

I know you probably don't mean it but post like this really seem disrespectful towards Malky. Nobody, not even Jose Mourinho would have achieved more than Malky has this season. I'm proud to call Malky Mackay our manager and cannot praise the guy enough for the season we've had. Although technically we've achieved nothing, I am so proud of Malky and co. f**k Di Matteo!!!
