Rodgers does not see Liverpool as top four. Or he thinks Liverpool not good enough for him. Hmmm

anyone got it? :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He would have enormous pressure on him at Liverpool which he doesn't or won't have at Swansea. I think if he keeps the jacks in the Prem for one more season he will be even hotter property and I could see him moving on then.

Can't think why anyone who wants to grow their career would want to manage Liverpool. How the mighty have fallen and long may it continue

But Rodgers would get found out at Liverpool. He lets people believe he got the Jacks playing the way theuy do :o but it was Martinez that started that, not him

I've said he won't leave because he knows he will get caught out like he did at Reading.
No other manager talk themself as much as him because he knows the truth deep down.

He wouldn't have got it anyway they have a list of twelve managers, makes him look so loyal, gypos are lapping it up !!!

he thinks an interview is beneath him and he knows his chances of getting the job were slim so he doesn't want to piss off the gypo's

Probably done the right thing. Wouldn't have got it anyway but even if he had a chance no doubt prefers being top dog at a small club than having huge pressure at a big club

I don't have much time for him but he's right to have turned it down. He's not ready yet, and who knows, maybe he's not good enough.

Robbie Savage has said that they need someone like Martin O'Neill and I agree. I think they'll go for AVB myself.

Why go to Liverpool when you can stay in Swansea? Both places are very similar-crap docks, heroin, bitter locals with inferiority complexes, more DSS than you can shake a stick at, high crime rate, abject poverty, general shit hole. I could go on.....

Tend to agree or maybe even the Spanish waiter making a return. Whoever it is it's a huge job as they want top 4 at least

In fairness to Brenda I think he showed some integrity not to enter Liverpool's version of the apprentice, why go for a interview if your one of 12 potential candidates. How would have the jacks received him once he returns with his tail between his legs.

Plus it's a long way to travel for visiting days to see his son next season.
