Help, how much original 1927 programme worth

Fri May 18, 2012 1:04 pm

My manager's mother has found original programme of 1927 FA cup against the gunners. How much are these worth, she has been told £10, but suspect lot more than that, when I started following City in mid 80's they were worth £100.

Assistance much appreciated.

Jason.

Be warned, they did a commemoration exact reprint I believe some time in the sixties, and in 99% of cases that's what turns up. If it was the pucker one in mint condition, you'd have a good holiday on the strength of it.
The late one's may buy you a meal. :old:

Richard Sheppard down the club would be the man to speak to for advice.

Hi Gwyn

It is my managers grandfather who actually attended game, and they just discovered it on the attic by chance, so very much original. How can you tell, would it be date published, similar to book. They looking to see if they still got ticket too.

That ticket price has been like that for 2 years - it will never sell.

Depending on condition a ticket will range from £150 to £250.

A programme depending on condition again ranges from £850 £1200.

Dont forget if you are going to sell in auction or ebay you are going to lose around 10-20% with commission.

There have been a couple of reprints - one in the 80s and one a few years ago....however seems youve a good un there.

I buy and sell and have done for many years so if you need anymore advice drop me a PM ill be happy to help...and check my website out which has the 27 on there :ayatollah:

A pucker one in mint condition after 85 years would certainly be unusual and possibly a bit suspicious I suggest
