Who thinks that buying success had killed football?

Wed May 16, 2012 4:03 pm

I did think it had until watching the games unfold on Sunday.
What a cracking end to the premiership!
It seems like everyone is buying success and soon maybe us.
I still love a real giant killing moment as good as the next man but I think eventually most clubs will have multi rich Investors so it will be back to a level playing field.

I would expect technology to play a massive part soon but hope its not commercialised, like goal line technology sponsored by coca cola or something!!

Could we end up having add breaks during games?

How far will it all go??

The money involved now has taken the game to a whole new level pfft playstation generation type stuff, and its hard for us fans to keep up and take it all in! Football is moving on at the rate technology is these days ffs  its good for the younger generation, but not so much for the old skool generation to take in I spose lol

Yes it has killed the game , BUT ! its the fans to blame really . Its the fans that demand success NOW !! and the only way clubs can then try to give fans what they want and keep them coming to games. Is to buy it and the players then demand more money, then club put up season tickets , then fans go on about the price of Football today. Its a trap 22 :ayatollah:
