O/T INTERNET DONGLES

anyone got one of those dongle internet thingys for their laptops, if so how much are they and are they anygood

I am looking to get one for weekends up west, either that or i have to pay 99 notes a year for wireless

I use this,you can run 5 computers on it and you get 15g but! to get it for 18.99 a month you have to take a 2 year contract,I am able to stream with this and it's stable,more than the 99 bucks you will have to pay but a good dongle.

Just upload a server on your home pc from your laptop and log on from a laptop thats what i do, i suppose its like a trojan/remote desktop in a way but its a prog so you use your own desktop with internet like your at home but your running from your laptop whereever you are back to the home pc, no cost at all even better

I had a "3 one plan" on my HTC smartphone and used it tethered direct to my laptop. Just as good as most direct or routered
broadband from Sky/BT. It was £30 quid a month unlimited B/band/texts and 2,000 mins.

also on 3 one plan i take my sim out of ohone and put it in dongle works brill costs me nothing extra as i have all u can eat data

Here is a list of some but most you will have to pay for im guessing on one off fee and thats that but as to how many servers you want to upload on to whatever from wahtever laptop to pc thats endless

Theres another way also daz and its 100% free but your antivirus will have to go off this is the way i have done it many times its abit of a pickle if you have no idea what you be doing but heres the link to some hacking tools which is more or less the same thing as above for the payed for ones as its a server programme also and does the same thing. Ive fucked about with shite like this for 10years online so add me up if must on messenger if you must.

There all pretty basic anyway daz all you do is make a server on your laptop from whatever programme you deside to use and send it to you email or upload it to your home pc execute it on your home pc and done thats it then you open the laptop and hit remote button, or you could be a sly dog make a server bind it with a file eg, some birds tits or call it "the wife spread eagled" if you want, then link it to a file upload site spread the word of your so called wife , fools click it and think its your wife but all they see is a pic of someone elses wife and before you know it your email goes bang with there IP address on and you just do the same copy and paste that ip address and hit connect to your server they just opened and away you go again you see what they see on the pc and do whatever the feck you want like you on at home or spy one them even someone you want to watch ect, thats how i learned the ways of internet many years ago naughty but it woke me up to how easy it is to get done over online

I'm 20 odd pounds in credit, a vodaphone one from a few years ago. Got it free for turning up at some egg chasing at twickers.

Cost me around 500 quid just to download the software so it would work. Free my arse

I couldnt explain it in any lesser terms baz its either you pay for a prog or you use the other way which the same but a free thing a server prog to another desktop anywhere some call them trojans backdoors which is more or less the same thing as the payed for ones people use for massive networking ect.

Baz, I bought one on Saturday, paid £30 for a dongle with 3..pay as you go, with £10 credit already on it, sound as f**k they are mate, I'd recommend one..check coverage first though

it's pay as you go on a monthly thing so if you only need it for a weekend or so a few months a year it's worth getting one of these and using your phone tethered to gain access. If you are not technical when it comes to computers then i'll try get a non contract dongle.

The reason i was asking was cause i was on holiday last summer down near cardigan way and i took my virgin media dongle with me it was okay in places, but quite a few black spots with virgin anyway, who supplies your tv and broadband packages... cause i got mine from virgin for free on a 18 month contract @ 59p a month with 1gb allowance. got the vip packages with virgin media though!! good luck and your welcome to have a lend to see if it works for you.

cheers moggs i have done a bit of research last light and 3 network comes up as the strongest i will look at the payg option as we are usually only up there weekends
