Sorry, dont think he was anywhere near as embarassed as you make out. The interviewer was stretching a point to say the least when she made out he issued a rallying call, he said "i hope others do", thats all.

Its just another idiot who supposed to be the voice of fans back tracking like a dog covering shit , they even proved him wrong by playing something recorded he said 12hours before , classic

Re: LISTEN TO THIS FROM RADIO WALES

This bloke is one of the reasons I left the Trust. I attended a meeting once and was utterly farcical.

To hear that on National Radio causes more harm than good. The Trust should seriously have a look his tenure because quite simply he cannot carry on.

In fact a lot of things should be looked at if events of the last few days were anything to go by. The Supporters Club, Trust, internal club leaks, fans 'representatives', the lot.

Yet again we are a laughing stock. Time for a re think.

I think we all said some erratic shit when first hearing the news. I don't think we should headhunt everyone who said a few crazy thing these last couple of days.

Let's just get passed it with a bit of unity.

He said he was wearing his Blue shirt on the first game of the season ,and he hoped 16000 other fans would do the same. Bang on in my opinion, this is now what it has come to any little thing to attack either the blue or Red camps. It is sad, some actually now want us to play in Red even if we dont have to

I honestly haven't met anyone who wants us to play in red, however I have talked to loads like myself who are prepared to play in red if it's the price we need to pay in order to get the investment needed to not only progress, but to stay afloat if they pull out totally.

I'm never going to except it, been going since 1982, done 86 League grounds, the moment we change to Red I will not be going again, it is wrong and I can't believe so many people are rolling over and excepting it......the worrying thing is, we are still a Championship side, what if we don't get promotion and we are still a Championship team in 5 years time? I mean if money has been invested, all the changes, ground extended, we will be losing money left right and centre, probably more than we are now....I think the rebranding and serious investment should come when we are actually in the Premier League and not before.

Gwyn as you know my stance on this (red and blue stuff) is exactly the same as yours but i honestly dont understand what purpose threads like this aim to serve.

Now TLG is hitting back on ccmb in his usual catty manner!

This is not a dig at you or anyone else but the whole embarrassing situation has once again proved that a lot of our more high profile fans have a lot of history with each other that often simmers but explodes during times like this.

It's difficult to find a resolution because fans like you, annis, tlg etc are often the ones that are willing to give up a lot of time in service of the club, but i honestly think a massive re-think is needed about how this club is run.

I think leaks need to stop, full stop. I also think further big changes are needed to prevent everything turning into a battle of personalities. This week has been my most draining ever as a Cardiff City fan. I, like you and countless others on both sides have been misinterpreted, misrepresented and called countless things but if we can come through this people need to learn that some things need to be debated and historical feuds need to be left at the door. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Gwyn, I do not know the Chair of the trust but you seem hell bent on trying your best to ridicule him because he does not share your opinions. I have listened to his interview and on the whole it was relatively balanced given the situation at the time. In contrast, I have listened to your interview with the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18032351 and if you listen to it at around 29 seconds, you claim that "there were messages left on the messageboards about burning the Thailand flag". Gwyn you have the cheek to criticise someone else's interview just because he has an opposing viewpoint yet in your interview you cannot even get the country right  . You also described the Chairmans radio interview as cringeworthy but its not half as cringeworthy as your interview when you had the cheek to tell fellow fans who the hell did they think they were asking for consultation. It is due to statements like these that you have lost a huge amount of credibility this week as well as your attempts to try and ban members of this forum for voicing their opinions. I am glad that the facility to ban forum members has been taken away from you otherwise posts such as this might not see the light of day.

This guy needs to learn quickly that when you put yourself forward to interview that you need to be consistent in everything you say, he hasn't been and was very easily caught out. Why am I not surprised :?

The thing is with the Trust is that with some issues they sit on the fence, like the issue with the train lady, where the message is let's wait until the investigation is complete before we say anything. But with this issue the Chairman of the Trust is openly saying I will be wearing the Blue shirt at the first game next season and I hope the 16,000 other ST holders are.

Where is the consistency? Why on earth wasn't the message from the Trust lets see what TG & VT have in mind and the consider the offer before we send everyone on an emotional roller coaster which will see chaos. Another classic own goal by the Trust.

Whatever your opinion on this issue, and I very much want to see the "Blue" protected in some way I also very much want to hear exactly what it is that TG & VT have in mind. Few if any of us have actually heard all the details but we have had a barrage of misrepresentation like VT doesn't like the colour blue,it's unlucky and that's why he wants to change to red. After TG open letter we now know that is bollocks intended to hit at the emotions of fans.

As for the badge or club crest look at my avatar that is the club crest worn on the greatest day in our history, when we won the cup in 1927, it remained our crest for over 30 years. Not a Bluebird in sight just a couple of goats, a dragon and the Fleur De Lys and only the slightest hint of blue. But we were the Bluebirds then as we are the bluebirds now and as we will be the bluebirds tomorrow.

I cannot understand how we as fans are not prepared to listen to TG & VT on what they have planned because how many Championship clubs can afford to turn down a £100m investment, and that is what is on the table, investment not debt. How many clubs can claim to have an owner who is prepared to invest that much of his own money? Not the Glazers at Man Utd because they borrowed heavily to finance their purchase of Man Utd andthe repayments on those loans has effected that clubs ability to compete in the transfer market. Hicks and Gillette at Liverpool are another example where hundreds of millions was borrowed against the club. We have an owner willing to invest £100m and he wants to do something radical but let's not listen to his rationale why?

It's not like we have people forming a queue at the door of the CCS wanting to do the same is it. :?

good post but sadly the message from the club was we don't care what you say, there is no room for discussion, this is happening!!!!!! This obviously wasn't the case as just two days later the Malaysians proved they were reasonable and sensible men but that was not the message coming out of our football club! Absolute PR disaster!

Re: LISTEN TO THIS FROM RADIO WALES

This whole saga has become so cringeworthy that it sometimes made me ashamed to say I am a City fan. People will have divided opinions, yet we have certain individuals bullying other fans and warning them they are on a hit list.

Grow up for fecks sake, the last few days have made our fans a laughing stock with our infighting and racial slurs.
