do you guys reckon Malky would have got him firing at his former best? last season he was poor compared to other seasons, and i think letting him go for £1m was a little bit slack
IMO i think we have definately missed his clinical finishing this season

i missed out Jay and Burke, thanks for bringing them in too mate. Considering how well Chris Burke has played this season, it goes to show DJ COULDNT get the best out of these players, and it was a real shame to see them all leave. I also think even young Adam Matthews would have been a cracking player under Malky, but that is something we will probably never see.
I feel slightly sorry for Jay as he went to QPR and has just been totally wasted by them. Would have been nice to have him back on loan in Jan??

Yep i agree because at times i felt like buying kenny club foot miller one of them shoes where one has a five inch thick sole on the bottom of it and the other one inch because his shooting at times was terrible as if he had one leg bigger than the other

I know we wouldnt match what jay wanted and he was always going to go for money but his agent tryed us again twice after he had left due to nobody wanted him to start with so i was told but we said no due to knowing DJ was going i guess as for chris burke well he had already agreed pre-contract with brum under alex mcleish but he left brum one week later for villa after he signed for them lol. Again was down to us holding out waiting and waiting. Why i dont know because there aint much better in the names mentioned in are league to be honest but its not the 1st time we have done it to players worth millions the last few season all left to go for free like matthews and co that followed

No point going back to the old gard so to speek.
Much better off looking for new younger players that can fetch a nice resale value once they finally bid there farewells to the club.
Mason is a prime example in this case. The guy was a steal and then scored against one of the most highly decorated clubs in world. His stock went through the roof!

His gambling has destroyed his career. Money men still after him, serious bad men. Chops at his best would of been awsome

what a waste

Agree with Nukes, great talent and potential wasted on off field activities.
Was amazed when toon allowed to be sold because he scored for fun in youth and reserve games.
As for the 3 under Malky,
Chops,Malky wouldn't stand for his antics, Betty wouldn't work hard enough however Burke would've been spectacular in my opinion.

Chopra is (hopefully was) a car crash waiting to happen, Malky and his work ethic couldn't have it, £1,0000,000 for getting rid of bad news was good business.
