"Cardiff City is an institution, not a business"
This is what right we have to be consulted on this, Gwyn. We are fans, we pay fortunes (maybe not to you, but to many it is truly a ridiculously high amount).
Call yourself a Cardiff fan? The way you hold people in contempt for standing up for what's right, and try to bully them into changing their minds, I wouldn't be so sure.

City is an institution but institutions cant survive without money you ask anyone on this board who runs their own business as much as we would all like to we cant live in the past football has allready been ruined by money and you cant go back now

The bullying went both ways.
The trouble is football is a business now. The days of it being an institution are dwindling fast. Football in this country is global and every year the story of a closed Premiership and games being played in the Far East raise their heads.
I'm not saying we try and join this but we have to be aware of what we may be refusing and happy to stay in the lesser leagues.

"Cardiff City is an institution, not a business"That's the most romantic thing I've heard in a long time. The board can use that line when they are talking to players agents in the summer. I'm sure we'll end up with a squad full of world class players who'll play for the City for just £6 per hour. Forget the massive amounts of money these players get paid these days the board simply need to tell the new player "Cardiff City is an institution, not a business".
That's a brilliant idea, why didn't we think of that sooner.

There's an institution near me, I think it is a mental institution, loved the analogy Berwyn, sign for us Rooney we are a institution.

And people got to utilise their websites to rally the masses. they are both fine. I am saying that we must be aware of what we want from our football club when we get emotional about any plan. You fight your corner and be understand what you get when you win.
I do know who said it and I am more concerned as to what further information may have been received that resulted in such a turnaround.

Even an instition need Backers , This club like any other club has to be run like a buisness to servive. Man U is a huge institution, But it is run as a buisness and has to be to servive. Get real we need backers and where in this world where money is so short are we going to get another backer to pay out 1mil a month, and get fk all back for it . We wont even have the money to pay the players.

Gwyn you cant educate some people, lots seem to think if VT pulls out someone else will jump straight in to save us. I dont know what planet they live on. This club had a chance to go forward (hopefully it's still there) but if it's not there is always the Athletics stadium over the road, shouls keep the ones that stand happy

That's who said it. What a romantic, eh.
