All the statement by TG did was tell us officially what we all already knew was planned.
I didn't like the thought of it on Tuesday, and I certainly will not warm in any way to the idea just because a minority of people of the same opinion took it upon themselves to use the Malaysians race as a weapon against them.
I have done nothing wrong by valuing history, tradition, culture, whatever it is you wish to call it - and I'd strongly remind others against the change that they have done nothing wrong either.
I still think it is a criminal abuse and degradation of 104 years of irreplaceable heritage, and the fact that my club will be the one that whores itself, of all the clubs in the English pyramid, will stay with me to my grave.

When most realise, we could lose our club because some are not willing to move forward, you will be in the minority I would have though. Just my opinion.

Like the football world in general, we have to accept change and evolve!
Our history is history it can not ever be removed or replaced?
Maybe if we don't take up these opportunities, then there may never be a history for our children's children etc etc.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree with any branding but I personally want whats best for the future of Cardiff city FC, not to dwell on the past.

If this radical new idea is the be all and end all of modern football success, then why have only a few clubs, if any, tried it recently - apart from out and out franchises such as the red bull teams.
Our history makes this club what it is, and shitting on that instantly removes right to claim it as such. MK Dons are not known as they 1988 FA cup winners. Our situation, while not as extreme, nonethless compromises our tradition.
It will be an absolute abomination to attempt to claim the history of Cardiff City 1908-2012 as that of the current club, having been corrupted in such a way purely to gain filthy lucre and to satiate a few guilty souls consciences who are afraid of being labelled racist for being against the plans.

Nonsense. How does changing a shirt to red remove the right to claim our history? And to try and make out that those who are pro-change are only so because of the fear of being labelled a racist is an insult to those who dare to voice an opinion that demonstrates realism and bravery. Reading your post and others like it makes me realise that Cardiff City will never rise to the heights I've always dreamed about. A sad day.

Read my post properly - I am referring to those that have changed their minds in the last 2 or 3 hours whilst I have been sleeping, after allegations of racism were made.

You were swear that CCFC were a very rich club and have the money to be able to refuse £100m and continue in such a manner!!!
The more I hear of this discussion the more it makes me accept change - I do not want my grandchildren to read about CCFC in the history books ............... I want then to read the match programmes of their era!!!

I don't see how you could say we would die? Other clubs are in twice as much debt as us and still surviving.

ive always respected our malaysian owners and never entered into inciting racial hatred-its illegal and utterly wrong but I also 100% was against the changing of the badge, famous blue tops and nickname

Name one club that has £140 million of debt in the championship or below.

Well, that badge had the audacity to feature a bluebird, st.davids cross, and our name. It retained much of our culture in it, do you not agree? Hardly the same as just having a dragon and a red shirt, wth some throwaway latin motto under it
