Sorry but in my opinion, stripping our identity would have killed CCFC, so if the plans had gone ahead, CCFC would have died for me anyway. I am quite happy to support Cardiff City - The Bluebirds in the lower leagues. They are my club, they are who I have a passion and emotional connection with. Changing our identity would have made me feel like watching a completely different club who I would have zero passion and affiliation for.

I would not have gone to games chanting red army and dragons instead of blue army and bluebirds, as that's not who I support. I always have and always will be a Bluebird and I will never support any other club. Our change of identity would have made us a different club to me and I would have never have supported this club. To me, it would have been no different to for example, Man Utd relocating to the CCS to play their home games. They wear red, they do not have a bluebird on their badge and I have zero passion and affiliation with this club. Hopefully a compromise can be agreed and then we will all be happy?

I will however praise the Malaysians for listening to the fans that opposed these changes and considering our feelings and I respect them for releasing a statement to keep us all in the picture. Hopefully new plans can be made which will keep us afloat without stripping our identity. I really don't think the Malaysians are bad people, I have slated VT the past couple of days because I thought he was being a ruthless dictator and had already gone ahead with these changes. But now he's listened to the fans and stopped these plans, I think this shows the Malaysians do care about us and if they put forward a plan to take us forward which doesn't invlove changing our colours, badge, nickname and identity, I will support them. That being said I will not sign this petition as this petition seems to be supporting the initial plans for changes, which I am totally 100% against.

I would attend games and still sing blue army and bluebirds, just a red shirt and badge = £100 million improvment to Cardiff City, I'm in disbelief at our stupid fans....
