How much do you think Malky would have had at his disposal after paying for a complete re-brand, forking out on new training facilities, extending the stadium to 35,000, paying off creditors, ect. You forget that the likes of Swansea & Blackpool done it on a very tight budget, probably almost half the budget that we had in Dave Jones last 2 seasons. You cant buy your way out of this league, its all down to the right chemistry on the pitch, the desire, passion & the right coaching, I dont think we are too far away from that at the moment.

Maybe these Malaysians know more about our club than we do ourselves.

Fan power is important. Of course it's important the fans are listened to. Without us, and our money, the club would be nowhere. No way would they have invested £100million if they knew that half the fans would desert the club. So I really think Gwyn is wrong to criticise us for voicing our views.

Come on Nukes how are we selling our soul? I can still remember the huge row over shirt sponsorship back in the 70's & 80's where we heard the same lame arguments about tradition and selling out.

These days no-one thinks twice about having a sponsor on the shirt (& shorts!) and in fact there was a huge out cry a couple of seasons ago when Ridsdale 'forgot' about it and had to go begging to SBOBET at the last minute after f**king up that 777Ball thing.

The point is change can seem painful but it is not long before change becomes the norm. In this case we could have stole a march on our rivals and secured our future. My main motivation for backing VT's plans is that I can still remember that week in 2010 and how I felt when the game seemed up and the club were going to be wound up in the High Court.

It was only VT's intervention which saved us and I never want that feeling again. You might not be bothered about following Aldershot, Newport County and Chester City into liquidation, but I am because if you want to kill our soul and destroy our history then going out of business is by far a bigger and badder way of doing it than changing shirt colour and team badge.
