Vincent Tan the Bully Boy

Thu May 10, 2012 3:49 pm

What he is doing is something that some might call extortion...

Do as he says or harm may come to us?

I am honestly astounded that some fans are turning on other fans in an effort to pander to this man's bully antics. It's obvious he's trying to use intimidation to get the fans on his side. I thought maybe the next step for the Malaysians would be a consultation with fans. The fact they are scrapping the re-branding shows they lied about it being non-negotiable. What else did they lie about? The £100m investment?

First and foremost, let us stop fighting as fans and look at the bigger picture. Yes, I am glad we are staying in blue but ultimately I wanted the investment as much as anyone and I was willing to accept a compromise as I am sure the vast majority would.

So I find it to reveal a lot about Vincent Tan and his intentions by the fact that instead of suggesting a compromise he has immediately been rumoured to be re-thinking his investment.

Good post Zabier. Its all very surreal. First a tip of post Monday night which i thought was a wind up, only to find the following evening that not only was it true, but that it had been in the planning for the last twelve months, then today's official communication basically saying the Malaysians are seriously considering their future with Cardiff City, & potentially pulling the plug on any further investment, be it now or/and in the future. Its all been handled very badly,,,,by all concerned! :x
