Just ridiculous. We keep our history, our tradition, our name that is known throughout football and people kick up a fuss!! The money from Tan wasn't even promised! We could of changed everything for f**k all.
Very happy with the news, glad to see the fans have been heard

Richie, I agree. There is still an opportunity for compromise if the Malaysians consult the fans so both parties can get what they want. If the Malaysians don't seek a compromise then I'll be glad we didn't sell the soul of the club for the alleged £100m.

I just don't see why we can't keep the badge, keep our home kit blue and have a red away kit and just put a small dragon on the shirt somewhere? Surely everyone happy then?

At the end of thae day something doesnt sound right here. There were a lot of people happy with the re-brand and would have supported the malaysians yet after two days they have backed down? Also, if they were so certain that this change was going to lead to huge revenue streams in Asia then why didnt they stick to their guns?
This is going to run and run1 Im still very hopeful they will reassess and stay on board and we can all reach a compromise!

Agreed...I have sat here reading all these "now were screwed posts" all morning. Its put me in a worse mood than I was Monday when I was hacked about the initial news.

Several people over the last few days have posted threads about this being the Malaysians looking for a way out and were ridiculed for it. If they really were serious they would have arranged a meeting where the proposals could have been discussed further and a compromise reached rather than a complete u-turn.
I agree something doesn't quite add up here.
