March on Saturday - Why?

Thu May 10, 2012 10:53 am

As mentioned in a previous post, why the March on Saturday? Let the club come out with their plans, and then peacefully protest through the use of dialogue and clever strategies in order to suggest a compromise.

Let's all calm down a little and wait for the official announcement from the club, then, and only then, we go down the correct avenues in order to portray our feelings as fans.

I am absolutely disgusted with the whole "March and get VT out attitude on this forum" then again, fighting has been a prominent form of character building for many people on this forum. Let the club state their intentions and let's see the full extent of the plans before we go rushing in.

Just for the record I am on the fence on this rebranding situation and would not take part in a March due to my love for Cardiff City FC. When Cardiff City FC goes, then I go.

It's Saturday and there's no football. We have to fill up our time, so why not?

Wear some blue and pretend that your opinion actually matters. Guaranteed to make you feel good.

I would rather spend time with my family, waiting for next exciting chapter to begin in the Cardiff City tale.

Why fight something we know nothing about apart what has been spouted on a forum and in a meeting of which the points have not yet been officially confirmed.

Not for me.

Totally agree, some of the 'fans leaders' need to understand this as they will to be blamed if VT walks.

Hilarious

Why post on this if your gonna post shit.

When you want to post something constructive I will by all means have an intellectual conversion.

Until then, I will sink to your level and say.... I would rather wash my hair than wash my hands of our owners and eventually our club. Cock!

One of the things that I and many others who have followed CCFC for a long time have always had is a sense of humour. Join in.

What is an intellectual conversion? Being a "cock" as I am, I don't understand.

There is a meeting this Saturday in Cardiff, and then a march on the 19th/26th depending on what you read.... So thanks for your fantastic input and if you read the O/P I did not state which Saturday the March was.

If you read my original post, you'd understand that I was agreeing with you.

Strange, but true.

I did the read OP and the question "why the march on saturday?" seems to indicate this week rather than "why the march?" or "why the march next sat?"

The march being a week or 2 away depending will give the situation time to develop further rather than people posting crap against the fans who want to have a say.

There is a meeting this sat and hopefully once that is out of the way there is some constructive dialogue between the club (who have currently said nothing publicly) and the representatives of the fans. If all that fails then a march is a possibility but I think people including the OP are jumping the gun here.
