MISSING THE POINT

Thu May 10, 2012 9:56 am

To simplify the current situation - all those who think the traditionalists are on an ego trip are wrong, all we want is common sense and the opportunity to talk about the proposals and maybe come to a compromise,we don't want to walk away from our club we just want the opportunity as paying customers to have an opinion on our future and be consulted.

IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK :ayatollah:

Every deal that has ever been done has involved negotiation and this situation shouldn't be any different.

I don't agree with that, just the chance to put our feelings across the table and the chance to negotiate what is on offer.

I'm like most fans on here and want us to stay blue, but the problem is that we've all seen the extreme posts on this board and MM's board, so what do you think will happen if anybody mentions they'll be happy to fall in line with the "Red" proposals at the weekend's meeting?

I'll tell you what will happen, they'll get shouted down and it'll end in tears!

It's clear to many of us on here, that some people won't negotiate at any price and this could end up endangering our existence!

You can't tell me that if somebody speaks to VT and he refuses to budge on his decision, that it will be the end of the matter, as it clearly won't!

Dictatorship brings it's own problems and no matter what you are discussing the person who says I am changing your name and colours and it is not negotiable will always be asking for trouble no matter where in the world, the club belongs to the fans and the future is not very bright if major decisions are made without the consultation of the fans.If there is no negotiation I believe it will be the beginning of the end of this great club.do you think the opportunity to negotiate is an unreasonable request?

Not unreasonable at all. I hope "common sense" prevails & a compromise is reached. I believe it will.

The club isn't owned by the fans though is it, it's owned by the Malaysians, which is a business!

We just support the team that enters the pitch!

If Tesco's stopped selling your favourite tin of beans, or changed their colour from blue to red, would you stop shopping there?

The answer to your question is No, I don't think it's an unreasonable request to be able to negotiate, but what happens if the negotiation is unsuccessful?

Are you going to accept that decision, or are further plans going to be implemented, which could threaten our future existence?

Judging by several posters on here, the negotiation isn't negotiable!

I have to disagree,a business without customers will cease to exist and tescos is a very different situation to ours but to answer your question yes tesco has lost customers over the years that's why they are in trouble and recently admitted not giving their customers what they wanted. As for posters on here, they are angry and rightly so,this happens to often in business and it has to stop,CONSULTATION is always the best way forward,CONSULTATION builds relationships and keeps the paying public informed which in turn keeps everyone happy......CAN'T YOU PEOPLE SEE THIS. :ayatollah:
