Question for Carl and Annis - Fans Leaders

Wed May 09, 2012 9:10 pm

If nothing changes will you be supporting the club next year i.e. attending games as normal and cheering the team in red.

My first reaction was stick your club where the sun don't shine but with the other option of liquidation and the bullshit romantics of let's start again at the bottom, I'd rather have the club, representing Cardiff and Wales across the world.

I'll be there, not happy but I support Cardiff City and have done for nearly 30 years. Memories are still there and the future is unwritten. :ayatollah:

Leaders? Really? They're certaintly infuential but I don't think they speak on the behalf of the fans. And I imagine they'll agree with that.

I'm interested in their position, OK fans leaders is what the local press call them.

Very good post. The news when it first broke was a shock to say the least, but really the other option doesn't bear thinking about. We won't be the first or last club to change colour Leeds were blue and yellow until Don Revie in the 60s, Blackpool were blue, QPR wore green hoops and Wrexham were...wait for it Blue until 1940. These clubs didn't loose their history and we won't loose ours. Football is business, big business and unfortunately we the supporters don't the club and the owners can realistically do as they wish! The proposed investment should make our future exciting to say the least. Lets use our history and tradition as a foundation for what could be a fantastic future. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I just feel we need the "leaders" to lead and not create a revolt that will end in one of two ways, them out in the cold or Cardiff the Capitol of Wales without a top class football club or in the League of Wales going nowhere. We'll still chant Blooooooooooobirds, if for nothing else out of habit.
