We must stick together

The split at Man Utd when some fans turned to FCMU caused a lot of aggro amongst their fans. Whatever happens we must not divide our fans. I am totally against a change of colour and even more so against a change of nickname . But what we have to consider is are we all willing to see our club go bust just to continue playing in blue. I hate the thought of playing in red and will not buy any shirt, t- shirts, hats, scarves or anything in our 'new' red colour. What is more important to me is the badge and our nickname. If this all happens then we must continue to sing and chant bluebirds at the games and wear blue ( not red). I would be prepared to compromise so long as we remain the bluebirds, retain the bluebird in our badge and there is a guarantee that investment will be made in new players. What if we change our colours, change our nickname, sell our soul and we still end up staying in the Championship or worse still getting relegated. The £100m is not all going to be made available for team strengthening ( be lucky if it was 10 or 20M) but even if £100m was to be made available for players there is no guarantee we will get promoted.

More to the point is if this crazy idea does go ahead a number of us will have a decison to make. Do we start up somewhere else like FCMU or do we continue the fight within, a bitlike Jesus taking on the jews all those years ago.
