We are still CARDIFF CITY FC what ever happens

Wed May 09, 2012 8:54 pm

At the end of the day we are Cardiff City Football Club, Bluebirds were a foreign trapeze act that were in a Circus many moons ago opposite our Ninian Park.

If VT wants to invest £100 million into our club this season and put building work in place to increase capacity ready for Premiership football in 2013/14 then RED is the colour.

As for the badge change I seem to remember Sam changing our badge, big uproar at the time but we were still CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB.

Our goal as a club is in the top league and we have to be careful not to drive our potential investment away, he has chosen to invest his money with us and not one of the other 91 league clubs, look at Rangers FC, could be in the 3rd tier soon, what would you prefer.

We are Cardiff City FC

I'll only disagree with yes the badge did change but it had a bluebird and the kit remained blue

Obviously not, but the way the talks have gone, this will never be an option, Cardiff City FC has been broadcast globally over recent years, FA Cup and Carling Cup finals, so the name is already out there and established.
