I’m totally opposed to this re-branding but why should I hand my season ticket back and give up watching and enjoying Football. I go with my son and why should he be deprived of this as well.
But we do have a choice over the branding. No one is going to force us to buy this rebranded merchandise.
Boycott everything with the new branding and keep the bluebirds alive.
This means everything including blue away shirts (if they have the proposed new crest)
DO NOT buy any programmes, 50/50 tickets, mug, pens etc
If it has the new brand it’s not Cardiff City. Keep the Cardiff City and Bluebird brand as much in peoples minds change your facebook profile pics and post it everywhere.
When we score chant BLUEBIRDS at the top of our voice. Sing loud – change existing songs – You are my Bluebirds my only Bluebirds.
If the seats are red then fill the stadium with fans wearing Blue T shirts. (If there are any local printers reading this you could make a killing on match days
)
If the loyal Bluebird fan base refuse to go to games then it will be a much easier task to rebrand as the next generation will not know the history or see any wrong in adopting a new club brand.
