I've been watching City since 1958/9 and the thought of playing in a different colour is abhorrent, we are the Bluebirds and blue is our colour.
However, if this change to red is the way to ensure the survival of my club then I will embrace it. We are reportedly up to £70 million in debt how long does anyone think we can carry on in this vein or do you want to go through what Rangers and Portsmouth fans are experiencing. Before anyone suggests we go into administration just remember how many people on this and other boards have derided the Jacks for doing this and holding ourselves up as being honourable in dealing with our debts.
Going back to the shirts just remember its only for the home games, we play in white or black away from home regardless of any clash with the homesides strip.
All I know is I want a club to support, the colour will not take away my memories but without further investment there will be no more to savour.
