A MALAYSIAN WALKOVER?..WELSHMEN WILL NOT YIELD

Wed May 09, 2012 1:24 pm

As an ex F.O.C or Union Rep I came up against this on a regular basis, when I started the union I was warned to back off or they would close the plant with immediate effect,I didn't back off I stood for what I believed in and the plant remained. There were times when we were warned about asking for a pay rise and at one point I was told I would be made redundant but I stood my ground and remained, most of what goes on in business is bluff, most senior/white collar staff will see how far they can push and the Malaysians are no different. As a paying customer you have the right to voice your opinion about the product you are receiving and paying good money for, if you were buying a sandwich from a business on a regular basis and they decided to change that sandwich you would be well within your rights to stop spending at their premises, this is no different.
Just because the Malaysians say red doesn't mean we have to accept it,what happened to good old consultation,if you allow this to happen it will be the beginning of the end of Cardiff City as we know it.Cardiff City will carry on even if the Malaysians leave and as soon as people realize they are using strong arm bully boy tactics to get their way and the sooner we can stand together and put a stop to this ridiculous outrage that is unfolding in front of our eyes the sooner we can move forward. If football is now big business they need to start acting business like and start consulting their customers. :ayatollah:
