Could this be the facts behind the re-branding

Wed May 09, 2012 10:24 am

As a businessman myself I have been trying to get my head around the reason for the re-branding and the consequences.
I can only see two consequences why the Malaysians would want to cause so much unrest.

1) they have a long term plan that will ensure City are in the Premier League and stay competitive. Hence extending the ground , training facilities and the dredded red shirts that will sell more in Malaysia and bring in more income. Our owners will have been fully aware of the unrest this will cause, but have still made the decision as they are thinking long term.

2) They want to totally piss off the fans and cause the unrest deliberately and here's :

Some of these changes sound very similar to what Sam Haman was proposing. It has been muted that the Langston debt will be sorted. I have a feeling that with all the unrest caused Sam would be welcomed back like a White Knight. Sam would never wanted to share a ground with the Blues.

I cannot see any other reason than either of the above , the people involved are no mugs , they know what they are doing , even down to the leaked info straight after our play off defeat.

Watch this space.

The JAcks promotion has spurred this on, no question.

They bought us because they thought we had the best chance of getting Prem football and thus having the backing and financing of a whole country.

The Jacks have gone up instead and have played on their nationality, especially with their new kit and Tan has seen all hes invested in slipping away to the Jacks.

This is the result of a mad mans panic, and we are the victims.

Ok I have a little information from the so called "soccer brand community". I won't release it just yet.
But you've hit a key word with your post.

Once people are told, they'll realise where Slippery Vinny wants us heading. And they REALLY won't be pleased.

I am not convinced he is a mad man , he knows exactly what he is doing and the consequences

No country is going to get behind a team.. There may be a few city fans dotted around Wales but not as many as down in the valleys and Cardiff. Just because the jacks are in the prem it doesn't mean EVERYONES going to support them in Wales, I know plenty of Wrexham lads who wouldn't.

They are either going to pour money into us or make us protest etc so they walk away.

If they really wanted to piss us off they could change our badge to a swan.....

We're just a "brand", money to them.
And he's said why he doesn't like the swan badge.
So whats his next move...?
He's giving us clues in public isn't he!

The only way they are going to make significant amounts is if we are a prem team not a championship one, the only way to do that is investment.

I don't mind the shirt change, it's the ground being changed, imagine a mass of red seats....

We will always be the bluebirds and Cardiff City.

We need all the details on everything including the changes and investment.

You already do. Atleast you've seen it elsewhere.
