MY TAKE ON THE RE-BRANDING

Wed May 09, 2012 9:53 am

My take on the re-branding, I am 100% against it as Im a true believer in traditions, however football is now a big business and football have already sold its soul to the TV rights. As a business if a failing company is constantly loosing money and not reaching its targets, it goes either one of two ways "out of business or change to adjust to today's international market". Now whatever colour we play in it'll ALWAYS be Cardiff City, there will come a time when people will ask who was the Bluebirds, fans are fickle.. I think we should consider the options and not slate VT as we are, it would be different if he was walking out on us and saddling us with millions in debt but he wants to push us forward and invest upto £100 million. The biggest problem for us fans is that we dont see it as a business and EXPECT, I dont care if we become a laughing stock, Id rather play in pink n black and be called Berie Bassets than not have a club at all.

Agreed i mean you say you would rather watch a club in pink & black called berie bassets than not have a club at all well there taking what it is to be a bluebird away so whats the diffrence. When your clapping team RED DRAGON in years to come you will forget about history i guess but you more or less already have sold out
