What shall I do now ?

Wed May 09, 2012 8:48 am

I haven't stopped thinking about this. Shall I give my season ticket back? If enough do it then it could be effective or shall I keep it and make an absalute nuisance of my self. Now that could be usefull. I would start anti Malaysian songs anti Tan songs. Shout BLOOOOBIRDS all game. Wear my blue Cardiff City shirt every game, and shout abuse at that crackpot constantly.
I will never except what that idiot has in line for my Club.
And Steve Tucker you are a Malaysian Whore.

Why am I not as passionate as everyone else about this!!

I am looking at the benefits rather than the negatives and if this is what it takes to have prem and champions league football then so be it!

Maybe it means I'm not a "proper fan" but I want what's best for my club. I support Cardiff city the city and the club I was bought up with. I just dream of Us playing premiership football in front of 35k fans. I am gutted and upset by the plans but am prepared to adapt if need be and I will NEVER give me season ticket back NEVER!!

Call yourself a proper fan? You are just another plastic who is prepared to sell out for the offer of some possible glory and what makes me ashamed of you is that you are doing it without a fight. Please remove the word Canton from your username as you do not deserve to use it.

Feck off mate! I was born and bred in canton and could see the floodlights from my bedroom window and listened the crowd roar wishing my dad would take me. I also watch the home games in the canton stand so I'll keep my name if that's ok with you.

Barrie you want success that bad ? That you are willing to kill our Club. It sound like (sorry to say this as we are mates) you just want any club as long as its in Cardiff so you can watch prem football. You love the idea of top flight football more than you love our Club. Would you still feel the way you do if the Swans was not in the Prem ? Are you that jealous Of them that you will part with your Blue white and yellow soul. And remember it isn't nailed on they will give you what you want Barrie

If we all turn up wearing blue every game and still shout bluebirds then his plan would have failed. Tan will soon realise what the colour means to us and will have to compromise. If he can't sell this rebranding to the clubs own fans then what chance has he got of doing it internationally. What dissapoints me more is because he is from the far east, you would have expected him to respect tradition. Lets keep the stadium blue and show him the way.

How about support the Club ?

So nice to see people turn their back on the Malaysians , the ones that have kept the Club in business and we welcomed to the grounds with open arms by fans like you ; Football fans really are so football fans really are so fickle and ungrateful at the best of times no better than those sad Man Utd fans that swore never to watch the Club again as long as the Americas are there (that lasted long I must admit)

Me I'll be watching my Club in red and happy to see real money and real investment coming into the Club , the only real worry is will Clueless Malky know what to do with it , or will it be spent on more Scottish rejects like Miller

Yeah I want success bad mate. Seen enough dark times but as you've rightly said I will support Cardiff no matter where we are and still re new whatever leauge. But weirdly I'm not seeing red  like everyone else. I still put my club before anything, cry for them, shout, and sing. To me we will always be the bluebirds!!
I know I'm in the minority but that's my opinion and I feel it doesn't make me less of a fan

Barrie I will not support a team wearing the Malaysian Red with a Malaysian Dragon with Malaysian flags in a stadium in Cardiff. That is not my team and will never ever embrace it. If I go it will be to cause offence and cause trouble for the Malaysians. Never ever will I sell my soul ........I will sleep easy knowing I have not done the dirty on the Bluebirds

Its not so much the kit change but when its in conjunction with dropping the name bluebirds then its a step too far.

I do agree that the dropping of the Bluebirds and more so the Club emblem is a bit much to take , but if in the end its for the good of the Club its a Pill worth taking .

1st we won't be premiership.
2nd, playing in red will "only" be part of whats planned.

Good for you mate - dont let people bully you. I used to walk from where I lived in Ely to every game to NP and have been a season ticket holder for years and my boys have too since we moved to CCS. I am the same as many others and don't know what to do as the club I love has virtually disappeared overnight, but I won't resort to name calling anyone who disagrees with me and who might be able to see the benefits of what is happening. Apart from the obvious, the worst thing about all of this has been the timing; how were people supposed to deal with it after what we saw on Monday and by Wednesday that club doesn't exist as we knew it. We all need time to get our heads around it, so to start screaming that people are disloyal because they disagree with your opinion is as much a dictatorship as VTs efforts.
