A forum for all things Cardiff City

After hearing the news of the still purposed Red Cardiff City, I was wondering if fans would do something similar to what Man Utd fans did and create FC United of Manchester.
I am not interested in supporting a Asian team that plays in Red in Cardiff, maybe you're opinion differs but this is mine.
There are currently no other professional clubs in Cardiff that I know of so would be interested in a new club that play in blue.
I am only 16 so I can't go talking about history but I know Cardiff as being blue.

I don't think you would get many fans travelling to Bury for home games(thats where FC Man Play)
I'ts called Irony a team heavily supported by people outside of manchester set up there own version outside of manchester

I'm young and got pretty good feet. I'll join you in defense in my regular center-back position

We wont be able to enter the English league, as its only by invitation and voted by members.
The more likely scenario would be playing in the Welsh league system.

So certain places don't like the colour Blue? Personally, I don't see the point in reaching out for the worldwide market if we don't even have enough 'local' fans to fill the Stadium yet. Wigan are a Premier League club and mostly all their fans are local.
I just think there's better ways to do this. As one of my friends said, why can't the inject the 100m in to a Blue Cardiff now?

I have no interest in watching a LOW team, I'd be amazed if they let a FC Cardiff enter the English system.
If I didn't support Cardiff city that would be it.

injecting 100 million is great but think where is the most merchandise sold ? Cardiff so why go against what we think and believe.

We'd never be as big of a club in the Welsh League but I'd rather be Blue than Red in Prem. I suppose it's just a nickname, kit and badge change to some but I've grown up supporting the Bluebirds.

Merthyr went into Liquidation 2 years ago, they started over again in the Western League (English) they are now back in Southern League. It takes about 7 years of promotions to get back into the league from there mind.
Be great fun though, Bluebirds, bluebirds

Silly idea setting up a new team with no history because your team with history changed it colours an it wouldnt feel the same team? So youre going to set up a new team? ..... Team

It's the colour Blue that is most important too me as a Cardiff fan. I am young and couldn't tell you too much about the history except for recent successes in reaching Finals. You've got a good point for the older generation to be far though

Haha, sorry, I don't know too much about Barry and the lower Leagues because all I really care about is the Bluebirds and the Prem Dream. I watched a documentary about FC United of Manchester and that's the only reason I know them
