They will soon end up going back to Blue anyway when shirt sales are shit and crowds drop.

The fact that you do not know the answer speaks volumes.

We seem to be in a messageboard minority, but I agree. What does it
matter what colour we play in? No. Does is
matter if our badge is changed? No
Would it have mattered if we went bust, like so many of our previous owners/chairmen seemed destined to take us? Yes
Cardiff City have been a massive part of my live for ove 30 years, I've seen them play in blue, white, black, green, yellow, brown & orange, purple and red, they were still my team, for good or bad.
They may no longer be my "bluebirds" but they are still my Club and a change of colour scheme isn't going see me run to the hills.

Sensible posts IMO people. Personally, I don't think it will happen on the scale we are talking about.... I mean if it was as simple as a colour change or Red - being a lucky colour then why don't they simply go buy Barnsley or Forest as they play in red.

I don't think it matters long run in the grand scheme of life, but that is just me.
Really when we make the colors and the kits so important, are we cheering for the boys, and the city or are we just cheering for laundry.
However...some people grow atatched to symbols, to badges, to colors, and that is also fine. It reminds them of something from there past. Maybe when good ol dad to the over to the pitch? The sights the smells, I understand that and do not for one second begrudge anyone for being upset about this.
So IMO dissapointed but not a huge deal, but I understand why peole are upset.

I'm glad I found this post - I thought I was the only one with that attitude. The club is more than just a blue shirt - we were brown and gold when we were Riverside, after all.
I'd prefer us staying in blue, but if the club I've supported since the day I was born nearly 54 years ago can make it in the Premier League, I won't care what colour they wear.

Thread full of sellouts, we're the bluebirds not the red dragons.
Why does it matter - heritage and history all dropped for money. What a bunch of whores.
You'll be the first feckers I'll top to bottom with blue emulsion first home game of next season

it matters to me. we should always have a blue home kit with a bluebird on.

We're Cardiff City, the Bluebirds, and we play in blue. That is all you need to know.

count me in with the painting
the malaysians would run to the hills if a bunch of nutters from the valleys led by dai hunt turned up with blue paint and brushes,

What would be the shirt sales for the new kit, Puma will have a fit.
The bluebird must stay, a blue and a red kit with no third kit would do ok though.

I would be gutted to lose the bluebirds and traditional Cardiff city blue but if it meant tan pumping millions into the club on players and the rest of it and us getting to the premier league and the sleeping giant that we are finally reaching them heights then why not I say, and the red and dragon idea got a patriotic welsh feel about it so I like that too, but hopefully someway we can still keep the bluebirds tied in to the whole ideas also cos that's our history, and that's if this stuff even does actually happen...
