Cardiff City football club are looking at radical changes throughtout the club for next season the decision comes amid growing suggestions the Bluebirds will be significantly rebranded from next season, with leaders of Supporters' groups called to a meeting with club chiefs this eveningit is understood the changes could see the club wear red kit next season, as well as a changing of seating colour at Cardiff City Stadium from blue to red They would also see a change to the club's emblem to include a Dragon and change the clubs name to WREXHAM AFC .
The decision comes amid growing suggestions the Bluebirds will be significantly rebranded from next season, with leaders of Supporters' groups called to a meeting with club chiefs this evening.
Such changes would alter more than 100 years of history at the club, who have played in blue since 1908.
Source believe the move has been ordered by billionaire backer Vincent Tan, with the prospect of a stadium expansion, a new multi-million pound training facility, and boss Malky Mackay being handed a summer war chest of cash to strengthen the playing squad also on the table.
