KENNY MILLER WHATS WRONG?

not sure WHAT happened he was supposedly gettting better every year and he is obviously clever on the ball,
he's still sharpe,

obviously something isn't right or he's not upto scratch the lack of goals is just sick.... he's had the chances... I cant explain why he has had such bad luck...
if he diet and sleeping pattern isn't good that could effect his focus. other than that,

When you are forced to keep playing when you have lost your confidence is low from missing all the time ,then you start to question your self. Then the more you play and the more you miss it get even worse. Malky should have just sat him on the bench and given Ernie a chance. But by Malky putting him on all the time and then he goes public and says kenny will start to put them away again soon.

That now means that kenny is even more on edge every time he knows he is infront of goal. The guy needed a break and Malky should have spotted that. Who is to Blame ? Malky ! end of

Cant make my mind up tbh. I think hes been left high and dry by the tactics, especially at home, but he does snatch at chances that when he was with Rangers he would finish with his eyes closed.

Does send me mental when hes upfront on his own though at home and pulls outside the box. Lucky I have a solid head of hair for a 35 yo.

Confidence is the key to any striker( torres?) and kennys is clearly shot. Compere with our rivals strikers, cole vaz tez, dobbie, mac sheff, le fonde, king,philips. It was plain we needed to strenghen in that area in jan. We were around the top, in the latter stages of the carling cup. I dont get the excuses of why not. Our rivals did. When was the last time we put a team " to the sword". Its cost us.

No, I mean I agree with you - that we shouldn't be criticising him at this stage, as he could yet be the hero on Monday (and then at Wembley).

I know what you mean - and I should have made the earlier post clearer.

I can understand the frustration many have with Kenny, but he's been very unlucky - he's hit the bar/post etc many times, and his strike in the 1st half on Thurday was a cracker, and only narrowly missed the target.

You don't become a bad player all of a sudden, and I think it could all come together for him on Monday, and I'd love to bump some of these posts slagging him off then

That could be true, but remember he has faced great players in International all over the world,and put goals away against them.
And its not that he is the only striker Scotland has. No he really needs a good rest and a boost in confidence. But the more you play and the more times you keep missing ,it really dont do you any good.

Fair points. Kenny did not really have a pre-season last year, so perhaps it has caught up with him now. But a good rest, and a full pre-season, hopefully he will be back to his best in August. Anyway, it's not as if he has not scored ANY goals for us

The tactics (or lack of them) and Malky's inability to see that playing Kenny up top on his own
is the reason for the lack of goals.

All in all, you have to blame Malky. A, for not changing things, and B, not signing a target man to play up front
with either KM or Earnie.
