Blackpool Crowd-Or lack of it

Sat May 05, 2012 8:41 am

When I sat down to watch this last night-couldn't believe all the empty all the empty spaces.Made our inability to sell-out the other night look small by comparison.Maybe Sky tv is a bigger factor than we all think.

That stand is under development, its a temporary measure and most likely is not safe to be fully filled. Could be wrong.

As it might not be safe it is possible the reason they put away fans there. Its a horrible club with horrible people running it and a horrible player who missed that golden chance last night. Really hope the club pays for that miss.

1) You're family club of the year, don't put yourselves down too much.

2) Vincent Tan is a lovely man I am sure

3) Kenny Miller is a good striker, without doubt one of the top 50 strikers to play in the SPL in the last 10 years.

Well our play-off semi final was against Forest live on Sky Sports yet this ickle little club of ours could had easily shifted in excess of 30K tickets judging by the demand at the time ...

Were you all saving your dough for Wembley just like Jonsey boy saved Craig Bellers for Wembley last season?

That because up to that point your ickle club had done fcuk all for years except avoid winding up orders and relegation into the conference.

1) Yes we are family club of the year, and very proud of it!!
2) VT is a lovely man, i have spoke to him, have you?? he is also a very very rich man, (bilionaire) unlike that little wessel who is your chairman, i believe his business has gone into administration?? that seems to be a bit of a theme at your place doesn,t it???
3) Kenny has had a tremendous career at the very highest level, he will continue to do good things for our club, unfortunatly he probably wont reach the footballing heights of allan tate who is surely barcelona bound in the summer???

1) That's nice.

2) No I haven't. Yes I'm aware he is rich. Why doesn't he spend much on your club? As they say, you don't become a billionaire by signing cheques away ...

3) "The very highest level" "Tremendous"

Baffles me how wound up you're getting.

I can do two things at once, you know.

FYI, I just woke up 50 minutes ago after a long night out, I've had my morning cuppa & breakie. Watching a bit of Sky Sports on the TV, listening to a bit of music, taking the p!ss out of Cardiff whilst waiting for my mates to get out of bed so I can enjoy this beautiful day. Ok mate?

What are you doing on this fine & lovely morning other than responding to Swansea fans on a CCFC messageboard, go have a wank or something it's much more exciting.

2 years ago Blackpool had the home leg against Forest live on Sky on a Saturday lunch time with an attendance of 11,800. Last night they had 13,800 which is higher than their average home attendance this season by about 1,100 which is the same as us.

Blackpool have no doubt seen their basic level of support increase after their season in the Premier League but if you look at the Championship as a whole there are only 5 clubs with a lower average attendance.

When I saw all those empty seats next to the Birmingham fans I did wonder if Blackpool are putting restrictions on ticket sales in that area the same as we are doing with the family stand. I sit in the family stand and was amazed at the number of empty seats normally filled with season ticket holders and I believe it had a huge impact on our inability to sell out the stadium.

Has it become more important for our club to leave empty seats and not have police inside the stadium than put them on general sale and face the cost of having police inside.

Your game against forest was not a sell out. In fact there was 3,210 more in our stadium than that famous night of yours  Thick tw*t ;)

Bollocks. Without the support of your Osprey & Scarlett cousins you could barely manage 20K at home.

speculation again! is that all you lot base things on? sorry untill you get stadium thats bigger than it is now you can only speculate, fact you only sold 18k tickets? not 30k, so dont say things that is not based on reality? as it makes you sound like aload of braggers wishing you you could have bigger crowds when you know perfectly well you cant!! bit like bragging your as good as barcelona when of course you are not! :ayatollah:
