Should have been a penalty near end?

Just watching the "highlights" of the game.

We were well and truly spanked but looked like we should have had a penalty when Mason was fouled in the second half.

He just didn't go down with any conviction! I've noticed this about Joe before, he's just too honest and won't make a meal of a challenge.
