23000. why?

Thu May 03, 2012 10:41 pm

Because the football at home this season has been poor.

I hope hes got a plan b for next season cos people just wont put up with it.

Re: 23000. why?

think hes made a rod for his own back ie next season he will have got rid of those he dont rate and will bring in more of his own choice and if he dont pick players on form and drop those out of form ie use his total squad gives players a rest when required we will fail again :ayatollah:

Plan B is called stability and personalisation.

Malky can get rid of the players who he inherited and doesn't want and bring in his own.

If we don't go up this year, I truly believe, if Malaysian backed, Malky will take us up.

Plus West Ham brought the full 2000, top tier was pretty full, Canton/Ninian corner was full, Canton and Ninian were full.
Family stand half empty

I thought there were more there

Well from enjoying it on TV, it looked like there were plenty of empty seats.

That's the way it looked to me as well.

In regards to the family stand, perhaps it was empty because it was a school night? Plus Premier seating was half empty

They count the ST holders for league games wether they turn up or not.

/\/\/\ This.

The family stand just doesnt work, it kills the atmosphere and blocks seats for big games.

And the football we play is dull.

The club said they sold 23k on Wednesday, so they recon the walk up on the day was only 29 just can't see it, you always get more than that

Re: 23000. why?

How does the family stand block seats for last night, surely any not taken up by 5pm on Tuesday would have gone on general sale !!
Maybe we are not as big as we think, where were the other 8k from Wembley only a few weeks ago?

Re: 23000. why?

Team not good enough - supporters not good enough - Premiership - na nowhere near yet sadly

What utter crap , Looking over Malky brought in over 10 of his own players including the inept Joke that is Miller .I would say that Jones signings like Whitts, Hudson and Marshall (yet another set of great saves last nite) are a big reason why we've even got limped into the playoff's to bottle it .

Still like I say as long as Malky waves to the fans, waves his arms around it makes it all ok. Never mind the football is boring, he has no Plan B and can't seem to work out that Miller couldn't score in a brothel with £50 wrapped around his bits

Very disappointed with the crowd but like others have said there looked a lot more than 23,000 and everyone around where i sit in 116 was shocked when the attendance was announced :o However the Club has got to look at what is happening with the Family Stand :?
