We need to score first...but only 1 team has beaten WHU at their ground by more than 1 goal this season -

I was at Ninian Park when they got relegated in 1962 or something. What's that, 51 years ?
In the mean time, I've held my breath so many many times at the fag end of the season, always with the same result. Which year was it when they only needed to draw away against Sheffield Utd, but managed to lose 5-1, 1970something ? Losing 2-0 at home to Middlesborough last year !!!
I've watched their results from Texas, Norway, Africa and Australia, always the same bloody result !
Well, tonight I tried working late and totally ignoring it, thinking that I might get in to find that they'd finally managed to finish the job. I was disappointed again of course, and it will be a miracle if they can win 3-0 away, but we live in hope don't we ?
I'm hoping that ONE DAY they'll manage to go back up, and I think I've waited long enough before moaning at them now, but I'm running out of time frankly and I wonder if I'll see it happen before I die.
On the other hand, if it does happen, the shock may kill me !!!

Cant plaster over this - yes we need to score first and hope nerves hit west ham but lets admit our squad is good but not good enough - 5 new promotion players please if serious

I agree I think if we score first on Monday West Ham will panic!!
I think we were also unlucky on the second goal with the deflection

And Carlton Cole to save them on the line. Arghhhh!! frustrating but I think we can come back!!

We all know its over deep down and we blew it in jan when we should have got 3-4 good players in while sitting in 2nd place two points off top spot. Its as simple as that because after that it was downhill from there but by some miricle we made the playoffs when we should have never been in there due to other teams slipping up if we go off results, eitherway next season if the board do not back MM then i expect a season down near the bottom if we go off form from the last 4-5months. Its that simple.

west ham's side is a joke its a massive ask,
it would have to be a freak game putting into consideration the importance of the game its most likely going to be very tight..
and also the big dogs are due a win in the pay off's the underdogs have won the last few years

But no other team has needed to beat them by more than 1 goal, so the psychology is all different for this game to any normal league fixture.
Also, we've beaten the team that did it twice this year
There's still hope
