BIGGEST MATCH IN OUR HISTORY SO FAR??

Thu May 03, 2012 1:46 pm

Certainly is for me. I know ive said it in another thread but this is so much different to any other match we have played before. It could literally shape our future.

With the financial fair play rules coming in to play next season, we instantly are at a disadvantage due to our massive outgoing, modest income, massive debt and reliance on investment. If we dont go up this year we could be in a whole world of trouble and could very realistically be in free fall.

We would have to find an extra £6million per season to stay afloat and thats in a season where we reach a major final, if we dont then make that £7.5 million. Our wages wil be capped, our expenditure vastly cut and may even face an embargo should we defuault on the regulations.

Yes it may well be 'one' of the biggest matches in our history, but why such negativity? Myself, along with alot of other posters on here are really looking forward to the match, but then your bringing up this wages bullshit!! who gives a shit at this moment in time? its not coming into force fully until 2015.

Im not being aggresive or arrogant, but change the record or simply LOG OUT!

That is all!

I agree with you on most points weather your a jack or not as people are saying, but i doubt they will be saying the same when they see 90million in the red come next seasons accounts, eitherway i doubt the owners are that bothered as they have not really set the world on fire trying to get a squad for promotion so im not about to start worrying as there clearly not :ayatollah:

Because they go hand in hand. Its like going to play a game of Russian Roulette and ignoring the fact that if you lose the game you die.

Whatever happens tonight happens nothing anyone on this board can do about it. If the owners dont worry about it then us as fans should just roll with it i guess untill it either goes tits up then the haters who slate certain people for talking about facts decide its time to wake up or we make it to the prem all will be water under the bridge then. Its either one or the other. :ayatollah:

The owners dont care as they can just sell up and walk away, its us that will be barely left with a club. I dont think people fully understand the seriousness of the situation. They are lending us £1.2 million PER MONTH just to keep our heads above water. They want that back in full, plus they are adding 7% interest on top. Once the rules come into play next season they can no longer do this, they will only be allowed to invest 500k per month, meaning we dont pay 700k worth to someone. Players wages? HRMC? I dont know but whoever isnt going to recoeve their money isnt going to take it lightly. The season after it will be even worse as they will only be able to invest 300k a month and then finally the season after 200k a month - Leaving us a whole £1 million short EVERY MONTH.

This game is a must win. simple as that.
