You think we will? Cant see much of a walk up for a game like this. Anyone with any real intention of going would have bought in advance.

Would help if people could get through on the phones.

I can't believe they haven't sold out.Surely an admin error.

Or a club that's really not that big after all? Not selling out for a playoff semi is criminal.

It's the way football is these days, there are people up my way who are giving tonight a miss in favour of going Monday instead....sign of the times, people can't afford it all the time...I know prices have been lowered, but with a pending Final on the horizon if we get through, more money again....

If they answered the phone it would help. Just want to give up . Watch on Sky in the dry.

In fairness to the Jerks, they sell out every game for normal league games whether they are on sky sports or not. And usually within a day to boot.

To think we have had a week to sell our allocation of play-off tickets against West Ham... and are still thousands off a sell out on the day of the match is embarrassing.

This coming from a club who averaged 15,000 in your promotion season to the premiership, now THAT is criminal peg boy!!!!

You like a negative post don't you and any chance to big up the Jacks without any prompting. ;)

Re: No sell out

Fingers crossed for plenty of people risking buying on the night!.What gets me is if we get to the final we will have no problem selling 26,000,you know where I am going with this, hopefully if we get there tickets will be sold to ST holders, away members then SF stubs and database so the real fans get first refusal.

Sold out our playoff home game though :) And we don't claim to be a big club.We just laugh at the clowns who think they are when clearly they are not.

Against West Ham too,shocking :o

I just speak the truth Wayne. I think it makes us look small to keep slaggiing the jacks while bigging ourselves up when they are doing far better than us. It makes it all the more sweeter to brag when we actually have a case to.

It's simple when put like that and hopefully will come true.

Get to the final and there's a ticket each for the 24,000 home fans and 2,000 away fans. SIMPLE.

We sold out our home end quite a few times actually. If the away fans don't show there's not an awful lot we can do about it in all honesty, is there?

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story though mate. P.S All the best to you lot tonight, do it for Cymru!

We're NOT a big club though. What part of that don't you understand? We're a very good club who maximises it's potential. We're also extremely comfortable in our own skins with no delusions of grandeur. That's why we've been so successful in the last 10 yrs.

To sum it up.We think we can play like Barcelona whereas you think you're bigger than them

You averaged 15,000, how did you sell out the home end, were you giving the away fans 5,000 tickets???????

You seem to have trouble understanding English.

Let me break it down, for certain games such as Coventry we had a crowd of around 13,000. As opposed to others where the home end was sold out, on quite a few occasions ... Then factor in the 2,500 empty seats in the away end for the large majority of games, and there you have it, a 15,000 average.

Bloody disgraceful attendance from a city of 160K who'd spent just 2 years in the top flight in their entire history if you ask me.

What would you like me to say that hasn't been said a million times before? See CantonMagics post above if you need reminding. It was years ago and when im at the Lib next Saturday watching Suarez,Gerrard and co grace the Lib im sure muself and thousands of others wont be sat there thinking about what's gone on in the past.I'll leave that to you

Re: No sell out

think a few rthings to take into account, small timescale to sell tickets, people think well cant get down there or through so watch it on sky
weather will effect the walk up crowd, so i dont think we should moan

as for the jack comaprison, there isnt any, they are and always will be a smaller club to us-FACT

Pay all yours in full before worrying about us.People in glasshouses and all that.As already been said, our debts were peanuts compared to yours. And for your sakes lets hope you go up this season so the Malaysians stick around and pay your debts off.Perhaps they'll get fed up of being in the Championship AGAIN and pull the plug. What a state you'll be in then.Doesn't bare thinking about does it?

Well, this thread has been well and truly hijacked-thought it was about why we haven't sold out and yet again its turned into comparing the size of your knob with our neighbours.

The difference between the two clubs is that we AREpaying our debts back with many of them being converted into shares instead of hard money, if we don,t go up the malaysians will still be here, in fact come the summer they will make the next financial step by buying out the club. If all fails we could always take the easy way out and go into admnistraion, therefoe forcing our creditors to take 10p in the pound, does that sound familier??? aftreall it seems to work for plenty of clubs does it not????

Re: No sell out

Thu May 03, 2012 10:47 am

U keep talking about us only getting 15k yet that was with ni fa cup finnall,no play iff final and no pushing for the prem in the last 5 years..off course u should have bigger crowds then us as u have had a lot more success in the last 6 years.
As for not selling out tonight its nor a shock as u had to give paluce more tickets to sell out y home game and didnt take your full lot up there.
Please stip makeing out u are a big club as u clearly are not
Ps allready looking for reasons u aint sold out i see??phones dont work..to expensive..waiting for the away leg..get a f*cking gripp ffs its the chance to reach the big time and join your arch rivals..after us given u so much shit and still u cant sell out...o dear .
And just for the record we sold out our play offs in 2 days home and away and i could not get a ticket allong with many others who have seasons .. ;)
