On Monday afternoon i went on my E ticketing account to purchase tickets for the west ham game. For some reason i couldn't purchase a ticket for myself! After trying a few times on the hotline i gave up. The next day tuesday i told my mate i would try again on the hotline. After 20 phonecalls during the day, i phoned him back telling him i had trouble getting through and asked him if he would try his E ticketing account {which are linked}. He could purchase his ticket but not mine! But he could get a ticket for me a few blocks away, which i agreed to. Then my plan was to phone the ticket office and ask if i could be moved where my ST seat is in the ground. After another 20 phone calls and getting cut off after a meesage i finally got in the Que at number 24. I got through around 2 hours later, slightly pissed off but didn't take it out on the guy on the phone. i explained to him what had happend, he replied "you cant be to fussy mate" and hung up the phone!! i'm totally fucked off with this! i know i've got a ticket for the game but im two blocks away to where my mates are! I will send a letter of complaint to the club regarding this. Any advice welcome.

Dunno what to say mate, I avoid the ticket office like the plague and buy everything via the eticketing site never had any issues that way [touch wood]. I think I read somewhere that ST seats were reserved until Monday and then it was free for grabs to those who didn't purchase their regular ST seat, maybe hence the seemingly rudeness of the person on the phone telling you that you can't be fussy. As for the queues on the phone, someone posted a number in another thread that had a lot more luck and seemed to bypass everything. I don't know it myself but if you search this forum I'm sure you'll find it. Other than that on the bright side, at least you got a seat I guess

although i understand it must have been fustrating trying to get through and all the malarky ( i went through it) you cant really expect them to be making seat changes they got thousands of people trying to buy tickets anywhere and you expect them to track your purchased seat and swap it for season ticket one, then put original back up for sale...
you went about it the wrong way, tuesday afternoon there was no queue shoulda just been patient like i was and not panicked to grap a ticket.
