How would you rate your car's reliability compared to Japanese cars? I guess it helps if you've owned a Japanese car before but yeah... I just love the styling and performance of Audis and BMW cars but always hear /read about reliability issues. Is this really true?

not many my friend, not sure where you are hearing that.

Dunno what you've heard mate but wouldn't change my bm for any other make. Had a 118d now have a 320d and never had any problems. Dunno what you've heard about reliability issues but there certainly wrong!

My last 3 cars have been new Audi's. Never had an issue with them and very reliable.

Also the emissions are low saving you quite a bit on road tax. my A1 was free first year and now paying £20 tax for the year.
