There's nothing to get. It's a photo I took, that's all. If you don't like it or understand it then fine, that's your call, just leave it at that. I don't see what you'd get from simply sniping at it. There's a lot of threads I don't get on here, like most people I just move on. I don't snipe or go looking for an argument about it.

Have you got any of the Guardian Miners Memorial in Six Bells? I'm no photographer, so my pics were poor. Mind you, I don't suppose I've got the gear that you've got, either.

Have you got any of the Guardian Miners Memorial in Six Bells? I'm no photographer, so my pics were poor. Mind you, I don't suppose I've got the gear that you've got, either.

I was talking to Gwyn about that memorial and he said I need to go over and take a look. It's been pissing down ever since though so I'm just waiting for the right conditions.

Great photo imo, I recently bought a bridge camera and have had some fantastic results with taking panorama and macro shots. I purchased a softwar package called photomatix which is cheap online and when you run your images through it you can get some incredible results, have a look on flickr then search photomatix to see the effects

Yes I've had a go at that, they do several tools. Off the top of my head they do a very good HDR sofware which pulls all the detail out by layering several images of the same shot at different exposures. I'm sure they do plug-in's for Photoshop aswell.

its a nice pic , but i also get where bluebird1977 is coming from its a cardiff city forum for all things about cardiff city an you go post a random pic of caerphilly castle , surely there's photo forums for this stuff? im not having ago or nothing just thinking there would be less people to "snipe" you .

Can any of you recomend a decent digi camera for around £150-£200.

I used to have a Samsung S1O5O which was awsome.

Bought an Olympus one for the time being for £60 but whilst it suits a cause I want something a little better.

Any recomendations?
